Ingredients

3 tablespoons 50/50 Good Fat Blend, divided

½ cup organic popcorn kernels (I use Bob's Red Mill)

1 tablespoon pure maple syrup

½ teaspoon sea salt

1 tablespoon of nutritional yeast (optional)

Directions

  1. Melt 1 tablespoon of 50/50 Good Fat Blend in a heavy bottom pot on medium heat. Once melted, add in the popcorn kernels and stir to coat them all with the blend and cover with a lid. Wait for popping to subside.

  2. While waiting for the popcorn, combine the remaining 2 tablespoons of Good Fat Blend, maple syrup and sea salt in a small saucepan. Mix well until combined.

  3. Once the popcorn has stopped popping, open the lid of the pot and pour the maple mixture over. Use your hands to combine so every piece of popcorn is coated evenly.

  4. Finally, sprinkle nutritional yeast (if using) to add a savoury umami flavour. Transfer to a giant bowl and enjoy with your favourite movie or Netflix series.
